The WIN@sea project had reached its final phase

The WIN@sea project had reached its final phase. August 2025, the final project meeting at Klintholm Harbor was held over two days. While this was not the absolute last project meeting, it was the final one at the charming small harbor with departure to Kriegers Flak, where the project activities had taken place.

The meeting at Klintholm Harbor had kicked off with a serving of fish soup cooked over an open fire, featuring organic line-caught blue mussels and a variety of seaweed. Some of the small, very cute, and delicious mussels cultivated at Kriegers Flak were also served.

Adding a special touch, participants also got to taste the exclusive seaweed snacks from the Samuel L. Jackson campaign, made with sugar kelp from ”Vesterhav Syd”.

With full stomachs, the work package leaders began their presentations, providing updates on the status of their respective workpackages.

Each participant also received the project’s newly developed dilemma game, designed to explore decision-making in sustainable seaweed cultivation and marine management.

The following day, the weather had been in our favor, allowing us to take a trip out on the water to view the Møn cliff. With windswept hair, we continued the project meeting, with the second day focused on the next steps in the process.

Many thanks to all participants for their contributions and engagement. It was both a productive and truly enjoyable meeting, and we appreciated the great atmosphere throughout.
