The seaweed revolution is here – and it has only just begun!!!
This was clearly felt as we hosted the 14th Nordic Seaweed Conference in Grenaa, with Vincent Doumeizel, Silje Forbord, and Dr. Sophie Steinhagen as this year’s inspiring keynote speakers.
A HUGE thank you to all participants who all contributed to making the conference a success.
It has been a true joy to host the event and to witness how researchers, industry partners, and enthusiasts together are driving this field forward. We deeply appreciate your participation and the energy you brought to making the event both enriching and full of inspiration.
For two days, we didn’t just talk about seaweed – we also tasted it. The conference dinner featured seaweed in every course, enjoyed beneath the whaleshark at the Kattegatcentret, creating a truly unique setting for a truly unique conference – in our opinion.
We are ready looking forward to next year´s conference on October 7-8, 2026.
